Beach!

10/28/12

Took a beach study break today! I intended to go for a swim, but the water was really rough. Probably 5-6 foot waves in most places... Beautiful day out there though!

This is an outlook right straight down from campus!

By one of the most popular student apartments there is a pier. This is while standing at the end. Kind of funny how all the sea-gulls stood facing one way--into the wind.

View of the island from the pier!

Pretty tropical!

The Caribbean side.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” --Mark Twain

This is the part of the beach by the aforementioned student apartments. Really nice beach here, not at all rocky, nice black sand. :)

Kind of strange how it didn't even rain here even though the hurricane looked like it was right over the island and now it's threatening NYC and DC...Stay safe everyone!
